Papirøen (Paper Island) is a small island in Copenhagen's inner harbour, between Nyhavn and Christianshavn and close to the Opera House. Here is a short guide to where the island is, how to get there, and where to get coffee, brunch and lunch.
Papirøen lies in the inner harbour by Christianshavn, with Nyhavn across the water and the Opera House close by. The address of P88 is Papirøen 88, 1436 Copenhagen K. See it on the map.
The island is named after the warehouses where paper used to be stored. Later the warehouses held a large street food market, which closed in December 2017. Since then a new neighbourhood has been built on the island.

P88 sits on Papirøen right by the water with a terrace on the harbour. We open at 08.00 every day. The breakfast plate costs 95 DKK, a cappuccino 52 DKK and a grilled sandwich 95 DKK.
